Congratulations to Glen and Andy (pictured here) from our sister company Deli-Charcuterie for squeezing themselves and our products into our stand at the Farm and Deli show 2018. They will be there Monday to Wednesday this week. Why not pop along and wish them well. Stand is looking great!
We find ourselves (or so it seems) suddenly thrust into the second quarter of the calendar year! Not sure where the first part went. It's an exciting time for us as the weather starts to improve (we hope) and peoples thoughts turn to more outdoor activities and the occasional foray to their favourite hostelry where they will enjoy a tasty treat from the menus. These days you can often expect to find a menu for the beer too! Today we are looking forward to the Farm and Deli show where our sister company [Deli-charcuterie] have a stand and Andy the Business Manager will be hoping to encourage tastings of our wares and signing up some new customers from the farm shop and deli shop sectors. Glen (the Business Manager for Stephen's) will be joining, to lend a hand and to pick up any business that crosses into the wholesale sector. If you find yourself there; why not pay them a visit? The show is on 16th to 18th April (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) at Birmingham NEC. www.farmshopanddelishow.co.uk

After another attack in the media on the food industry; it’s more important than ever for those of us who care about protecting the reputation of the food manufacturers to ensure we share with everyone the importance of getting it right! Not all of the manufacturers and food service providers in the UK are breaking the rules! Most of us are doing our very best to guarantee the safety our valuable food chain. Here at Stephens we work hard every day to make sure everything is focused on the quality of the products we make. As always, the very best hams, cooked beef and UK turkeys have a dedicated team of food professionals behind every slice. As anyone who is interested can see, we at Stephens have always been transparent about our processes. Our recent appearance on KMTV is the third time we have opened the doors to the TV media spotlight. We think there are many more food companies out there who, like us, are dedicated to the cause of providing outstanding products with the highest safety standards. The UK food manufacturing industry is doing a great job and employing a lot of good people. I think a lot of us take it for granted, we should be very proud of the standards they achieve every day.
